ModBench is a free, non-commercial tool for building and exporting Minecraft modpacks. By using it, you agree to the terms below.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using ModBench (modbench.net), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. What ModBench does

ModBench lets you browse Minecraft mods (via the Modrinth API), assemble them into a modpack, and export that modpack for use in your own Minecraft installation. ModBench is not affiliated with Mojang, Microsoft, or Modrinth, and mod content itself is provided by those respective sources, not by us.

3. Accounts

You can use most of ModBench without an account. If you create one, you're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity that happens under your account. You must provide accurate information when signing up.

4. Acceptable use

When using ModBench, you agree not to:

Use the site for anything illegal, or to infringe on others' rights;
Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its infrastructure;
Scrape or bulk-download content in a way that abuses the underlying Modrinth API's terms;
Use automated means to create accounts or spam the service.

5. Content and third-party mods

Mods, textures, and related content shown on ModBench are hosted and provided by Modrinth and their respective creators. ModBench does not host mod files itself and is not responsible for the content, licensing, or behavior of third-party mods. Your use of any mod is subject to that mod's own license and Modrinth's terms.

6. No warranty

ModBench is provided "as is," free of charge, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that exported modpacks will always work correctly with every Minecraft setup.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ModBench and its creator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including data loss or issues with your Minecraft installation.

8. Changes to the service

ModBench is a hobby project and may be updated, changed, or discontinued at any time, with or without notice.

9. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms occasionally. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
